Klink's Kommandos!!

Here's Colonel Klink with his sneaky gits. Hes the leader of the Blood Axe clan in the horde. Its just a start but they are coming together well. I gave Klink dual knives as I may run him as snikrot. Hes got a backpack and some twine that has been fashioned into a rope (which any respectable kommando needs plenty of). I'll show this when a little more progress is made on him.

Next up is a boy with a beany that seems to always be in a heist movie. I don't know how it helps disguise you or anything but it seemed to fit.
Finally I wanted a boy with a standard bandanna mask. Hes rocking plenty of stikkbombs to blow up whatever needs explodin' behind enemy lines.

Emperor's Champion (WIP)

Here's an old limited edition emperor's champion I have. I used to run him back in 3rd edition where any chapter could take one. This was when I ran blood angels. Since Dorn named the first Emperor's champion and he was an imperial fist at the time I figured this would work well in my army. I decided to give him a jump pack so he could be added to my assault squad to give them some extra killing power. I like the ax instead of the black sword since it made him look a bit like an executioner.

Objective Marker (WIP)

Here's the start of an objective marker. Since I never have planned on including a command squad in the army I decided to do the standard bearer and apothecary as objective markers. The champion will be made into the chapter master, Vladimir Pugh, shown on page 52 of the space marine codex. I would use the command squad if their members could be spread out in the army like sanguinary priests for blood angels.

Assault on Black Reach Captain

Here's Captain Hadrian, Master of the Siege, Captain of the 3rd Company. I don't use him often since a boltgun is rather limiting on an assault oriented character. He fits well with a tactical squad making opponents think twice about assaulting but he doesn't do much at range to justify his points.

Telion with a different name

Here's my version of Telion. The ultramarine logos have been filed off and his gun has been modified to be more like a sniper rifle. In my army he goes by Aleron, Master of Recruits. I know the Master of Recruits is typically a title for the captain of the 10th company, but I never liked the idea of a power armored captain leading a bunch of scouts.

Tactical Marines

Heres a sample of one of my two tactical squads. This squad has bayonets or knifes unifying the squad. They are more of a cheap squad I put in a rhino. I don't want to waste an expensive heavy weapon while I'm driving around.

Lysander

Heres the mandatory Lysander. I went all out on painting this guy, so this is the highest quality I can produce. I even painted him in pieces. I've felt like I have hit a wall where I can paint faster than before but I am having trouble increasing quality. Its still worlds better than my last games-workshop phase when I was in Junior High.

Assault Marine

Heres a painted assault marine. I decided to do them all with the "beaky" style helmets. Normally I stick to lore pretty well, but I think the helmets work well with the jump packs so I went with it. The rest of the squad is assembled with 2 flamers and a power fist sergeant.

Vindicator

Heres my vindicator named Invictus Ω. The yellow was a pain to paint over such a large area but I think it turned out pretty well.

Librarian

Hello all!

I finally decided to post some pics of all the hard work I have been putting in on my "unique" hobby. First up is my librarian. He was assembled with all plastic parts and is more of the style I prefer. His official title is Librarian Thaddeus, Deacon of Truth.
